The race wasn't what I hoping for but that's alright because it was still state which was dope. Went out and the race started out really slow which felt made it feel like a light job but it was still a 5:11 first mile. Felt pretty good during the second mile and pace did drop a bit but it wasn't too bad 5:22. Third mile was a different story, wanted to go with everybody that passed me but I just couldn't. I wasn't able to do what I normally do, I don't know I just wasn't there. At the end of the race it was still great, shoutout to the girls for killing and getting 4th and shoutout to the rest of the guys for taking 5th.

We can't always know what causes a good or bad race. Is there other things in your life taking away energy? This wasn't really a bad race, just not one where you closed as well as you have in the past. Learn from it, put it in your wisdom file, and move forward.
