One last run with the soon to be missionaries. Mileage was supposed to be low but eh, time is short so whatever. Ran The Up-Chucker while the seniors actually raced it. Then headed up Center St and crossed Timp Highway and went up the trail. We lost most everyone at 3 miles out, we kept going up the hill after reaching the end of the trail because Asa said: "Let's go to that telephone pole and evaluate our life at the top" well we reached the top of that hill and after careful evaluation of your lives for about 2 seconds we continued on to the next hill. At the top we trailblazed up to the the next hill, that pattern continued for 7 more hills until we reached an incredibly steep hill we had no hope of running up so the hike began. Upon reaching the very top of the mountain, we turned around and we're greeted with an incredible view. "Ran" and stumbled all the way down to the spring where we jumped in farewell to Connor. A solid way to say farewell to Baller.

Took it nice and easy today by only going 5. Still feeling sore from yesterday but looking forward to camp.

First day of camp! Up city creek canyon 5 miles then back, started to die at 3 miles up then chucked my insides out at 4.65 and turned around there. Slow at first but let myself go when Big-T, Michael, and Collin ran by and flew down the canyon with them. Solid first day of camp aside from the wrecked quads.

Second day of camp! Running along Deer Creek and back, felt good today and didn't chuck so in my back that's a win. Supposed to be easy pace on the way back for the last 3.5, felt good going into that and held pretty good I started to die off on the hills.

Park City trails today, out and back on the union pacific rail trail. The way there felt really slow for about the first mile then we hit 5 out in what felt like 2 miles, but the way back was supposed to be a negative split progression run. I hit all the splits we were supposed to for the first three but after mile 3 when we started to pick up the pace I felt the urge coming, burped on the run and knew it was all over, stumbled to the side and did my thing. Papa Heaps came by and ran with me once I finished dry heaving, had a good talk with him and I think he might know something to get rid of my tendencies.

Feeling absolutely destroyed today, met up at Dry Creek and for a very relaxed and slow recovery run. Shoutout to the church on the corner and my condolences to whoever has to clean the restroom and take out the trash cans. Other than that it was a solid day, went to Kneaders with The Hinckley's, Collin, and DJ and ate 6 pieces of french toast. Then on to boating with Guppy so shoutout to her for taking us boating. Arms are completly dead from some intense tubbing, my entire body is now sore but it was a fun week.

Low mileage at easy pace which felt a lot better than I was expecting. Stopped by vets park to run through the sprinklers which was a welcome cool down. Fought the urge to chuck today and though I burped a lot on the run I made it through the entire run without throwing up which is a first. Hoping I can make it this entire week without doing my thing but we'll see how the team race goes.

Low mileage at easy pace again but I was feeling a bit better today and apparently Big-T was too because our pace was a little quick and we ended up doing hills. Starting feeling the need to toss my cookies at 1.5 in but managed to keep the cookies down even while feeling tired when we picked it up on the way back.

Ran the course for the team race tomorrow and did pre-meet, 2:37 so a little quick but should be about 5:20 pace tomorrow. Currently am on pace to have gone a whole week without chucking, wish me luck. I'm going to need it tomorrow.

Team race! Felt pretty nervous going into it, wasn't sure I'd get the place or time I wanted. Was worried I'd lose my breakfast and not be able to finish. First mile was at the pace we wanted 5:28 bit I started to die off bad in the second mile and split a 5:53, Big-T came up on me for third mile and we pushed it in and got closer to on pace. Ended with up a 17:21 which isn't near where it should have been but Highland is a week away and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do there.

No practice today instead it was a cross train day which is very needed as I still don't feel quite right. Getting some pain in my heel and going to get it checked out before I go camping next week. Biked along the jordan river trail for 35 minutes then turned back around but had to bike a little extra distance because the way back was downhill. Abs, hips and then iced my foot.

Met at dry creek with Big-t and Michael, well Big-T and I met there. It took a little encouragement to get Mike up and awake. Started out towards the rail trail and started feeling that pain in my foot again, just let it be through the first mile but it didn't get any better so I turned early. Getting really concerned about it, going to take a few days off before Highland and go get it checked out.

It's been a week since I last posted so I figure now is as a good time as any to post an update. I have a stress reaction in my calcaneus, so I've been off for 10 days cross training and now I have to go by feel and just be very cautious about how far I'm going. Now that that's out of the way, today we ran The Upchucker (or the kicker) which reduced the excitement of running again only slightly. Nice and slow 1.5 down to the start line from Skyridge felt okay on the way down, but my heel felt like it was back to normal but I'm was not about to push my luck. Michael took it out hard and we went with him the group droped off on the first hill, then on the second Michael and Dallin started to gap me and I never caught back up. When I was attempting to kick and close the gap Mike and Dallin had on me I suddenly with no warning started to dry heave and while I my kick left A LOT to be desired I finished with an okay 8:50. Half mile cd then biked for 45 to finish up for the day

Heel is feeling good but I'm going to be careful and not over do it. All three teams treated today as a tempo run which made for a very relaxed first mile with everybody talking and laughing, split a 5:37 first mile so a little bit slower than what it should have been but I was enjoying "racing". Second mile was a 5:35 which was about 15 seconds too slow but I started to have trouble breathing after swallowing a few bugs, which was a little unusual. Then half mile barefoot cd which felt absolutley amazing. Biked for 50 minutes to finish up mileage for the day, also learned I'll be running varsity at grass relays which is great!

Solid day biking with the cripple crew. 100 minutes in total and my legs feel very tired but I'm looking foward to killing it at grass relays.
